According to The Hollywood Reporter, joining Erin with be a glittering cast: "Helena Bonham Carter will play Princess Margaret, taking over from Vanessa Kirby; Jason Watkins will play Harold Wilson; and Ben Daniels will portray Antony Armstrong-Jones. Still to be determined is who will take over as the Queen Mother (played by Victoria Hamilton in seasons one and two.)" The Queen will be played by Olivia Colman, who takes over from Claire Foy, and Tobias Menzies replaces Matt Smith as the Duke of Edinburgh.

As yet, no date has been announced for the third season.
