Bridge Theatre announces full cast for Sondhiem and Lapine's INTO THE WOODS

Into the Woods casting announced at Bridge Theatre (16 Sep 2025) - The Bridge Theatre on London's South Bank has confimed the complete casting for their revival of Into The Woods, which opens in December.

The cast includes Jamie Parker (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as the Baker, Katie Brayben (Tammy Faye) as the Baker’s Wife, Kate Fleetwood (London Road, My Master Builder) as the Witch, Chumisa Dornford-May (Here We Are) as Cinderella, Bella Brown (Evita) as Rapunzel, Jo Foster (Why Am I So Single?) as Jack, Julie Jupp (A Christmas Carol) as Jack’s Mother, Oliver Savile (Wicked) as Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf, Rhys Whitfield (The Phantom of the Opera) as Rapunzel’s Prince, and Gracie McGonigal (The Little Big Things) as Little Red Ridinghood.
THe cast also includes Valda Aviks (The Addams Family Musical) as Grandmother/Giant, Geoffrey Aymer (The Wizard of Oz) as Cinderella’s Father, Michael Gould (Oedipus) as the Narrator/Mysterious Man, Jennifer Hepburn (Mamma Mia!) as Cinderella’s Stepmother, Hana Ichijo (The Baker’s Wife) as Lucinda, Gabrielle Lewis-Dodson (42nd Street) as Florinda and Hughie O’Donnell (King Lear) as the Steward. Standbys are Taite-Elliot Drew (Cabaret), Jacob Fowler (Heathers), Sophie Linder Lee (Wicked), and Chloe Saracco (Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812).
Directed by Jordan Fein, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s musical weaves together several fairy tales, focusing on a Baker and his wife's determination to break a witch's curse and have a child.
Fein said: "I’m thrilled and honoured to direct this new production of Into The Woods at The Bridge. It’s a musical that speaks to the necessity and power of community through the brilliant music and words of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine. To create this production with such an extraordinary cast and creative team is an actual dream come true."
The creative team also includes set and costume designer Tom Scutt, musical supervisor and musical director Mark Aspinall, sound designer Adam Fisher, lighting designer Aideen Malone, video designer Roland Horvath, movement director Jenny Ogilvie, and wigs, hair and make-up designer Sam Cox.
