Sondheim remembered in GRAMMY tribute
Cynthia Erivo, Leslie Odom Jr, Ben Platt and Rachel Zegler paid tribute to Stephen Sondheim and other musicians and music execs lost over the past 12 months at this year's GRAMMY Awards. As a slideshow of images played on the big screen at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the quartet sang a medley featuring some of Sondheim's most beloved numbers: "Not a Day Goes By" (Platt), "Send in the Clowns" (Erivo and Odom Jr.) and "Somewhere" (all four).
Sondheim won eight GRAMMY Awards, including Song of the Year in 1976 for "Send in the Clowns", as performed by Judy Collins.
